Blickling Hall is one of the most spectacular Country Houses in East Anglia. The 17th century red brick house is flanked by two immense yew hedges, has an extensive colourful garden and is surrounded by wonderful parkland and woodland.

The house contains fine furniture, pictures and tapestries set in magnificent staterooms including the superb Long Gallery with its spectacular Jacobean plaster ceiling and outstanding Library of over 12,000 books, and the Peter the Great Room dominated by its massive tapestry of Peter the Great at the battle of Poltawa.

Close by you will also find a delightful Secret Garden, an 18th century Orangery and a dry moat with a wide range of colourful plants. To the south of the house are the great yes hedges planted in the 17th century. The park and woods offer several miles of footpaths and bridle paths, a mile long cresent shaped lake and unusual buildings like the pyramidal mausoleum of the 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire.
